According to reports, Italian Serie A giants Juventus have pulled out of the race to sign Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho.
The Brazilian playmaker has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona and it has also been reported that Juventus were considering a £155 million approach.
Coutinho had wanted to join Barcelona and even handed in a transfer request to Liverpool to try and make a deal happen, however in the end Jurgen Klopp’s team remained adamant that they would not sell.
Barcelona are still interested in luring Coutinho along with big-spending French giants PSG, however it appears that Juventus will now not be joining in the race to sign him.
Juventus meanwhile have been strongly linked with a move for Coutinho’s Liverpool team-mate Emre Can. Can’s current deal at Anfield is set to expire at the end of the season and he has yet to sign an extension which has fueled speculation that he wants to leave the club.
