According to a report published by ESPN, Everton are monitoring the progress of Norwich City youngster James Maddison.
Maddison has so far been in strong form this season and has arguably been one of the revelations of the Championship thus far.
His performances have also led to him being included in the England under 21 side and judging by the way that he is progressing, he should be plying his trade in the Premier League during the near future.
It has been reported that Everton have been monitoring the progress of Maddison since last season and are keen to add him into their squad in order to boost their creativity.
Toffees director of football Steve Walsh was also said to be in attendance when Norwich fell to a 2-1 defeat against Bolton Wanderers this past weekend.
Everton are likely to make some squad additions in January considering their poor form and if they wish to sign Maddison, they will likely have to fork out a sizable amount of money considering the way that he has progressed.
