Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Liverpool’s Egyptian sensation Mohamed Salah for a reported fee of around £50million, according to Spanish outlet El Gol Digital.
Mohamed Salah has been in scintillating form this season for Liverpool since joining the Reds from Roma over the summer, with the Egyptian scoring 12 goals and setting up another three so far this season.
This fantastic return from Salah has largely contributed in helping Liverpool do reasonably well despite their poor defensive performance and has also ensured that the competitiveness of the Merseyside club remains at a high level even in the absence of talisman Saidio Mane.
Salah’s good form has also already attracted attention from a host of clubs and now according to reports, Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in signing the pacey winger during the January transfer window.
Atletico are expected to lose star Antoine Greizmann in the upcoming transfer window which means that Los Rojiblancos will need a suitable replacement for the Frenchman and Salah is believed to be the ideal candidate.
Although there is definite interest from the La Liga gaints, the reported offer of around £50 million might be too little to convince Liverpool to part with the attacker, as they are under no pressure to sell their new star.
