According to reports, Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes is unsure about whether to move for Liverpool star Emre Can.
Can’s current contract at Anfield is set to expire at the end of the season and he has yet to sign an extension, which is indicative that he is considering his future.
The German has been linked with numerous clubs including Bayern Munich as well as current Premier League leaders Manchester City.
He will certainly be tempted by the opportunity to play for a club that can pay him higher wages as well as offer him the chance of winning major silverware on a regular basis.
While Heynckes admires Can, he is also unsure about whether the player’s style would suit Munich. He said: “I still have a few months here. Can is a good boy, he has developed very well.
“If Bayern wants to be at the top again internationally, you also need players with a strong footballing concept, it’s not just about the physique. It’s also about the group, everyone has to drive back their ego.”
