Michael Owen has predicted a win for Newcastle when they take on Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday. Despite losing 1-0 to Burnley on Monday, the Magpies have made a decent start to the season and lie in ninth place on the standings.
Bournemouth by contrast have lost 7 out of their 10 League games so far and lie in 19th position above only Crystal Palace.
Rafa Benitez will know that claiming points against sides like Bournemouth will be crucial if his side are to achieve their aim of Premier League survival.
Newcastle have been impressive at St James Park so far this season and Owen predicts that their impressive run will continue.
“Rafa Benitez has won all five PL home games played on a Saturday with Newcastle and I think he will make it six out of six when the Cherries visit St James’s Park,” Owen wrote in his column for Bet Victor.
“The Magpies weren’t at their best at Turf Moor on Monday but they are a different proposition at home and I think they can keep the points.”
