Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has said that Everton will not get relegated this season.
The Toffees have endured a difficult start to the season and are currently hovering in 18th position on the League standings after taking just eight points from their opening ten points of this season.
The Merseysiders were expected to challenge for a top four finish this season after a summer of heavy spending during which they signed the likes of Gylfi Sigurdsson, Michael Keane and Wayne Rooney.
However judging by the way they are playing, it looks like they could face a difficult task to avoid relegation this season.
Speaking about Everton’s troubles, Carragher stated that they will not get relegated saying, “They are right now. I don’t think Everton will go down, but right now that has to be the mentality of people at the club.”
