As per bookmakers BetVictor, out-of-favour Liverpool striker Danny Ings is most likely to secure a move to Leeds United when the transfer window reopens in January.
The Whites are favourites ahead the likes of Newcastle, Southampton, Wolves and Derby.
2 fatal knee injuries have plagued Ings’ Liverpool career since his 2015 move, and despite being fit of recent, he has had to play with the under-23’s.
With Daniel Sturridge and Dominic Solanke firmly behind Roberto Firmino in the pecking order, Ings remains out of first-team reckoning, and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants him to go out on loan in January.
While dropping to the Championship wouldn’t be a much-pleasing move to the 25-year-old, it could be the only opportunity for him to return to playing regularly and re-establishing himself as a striking force.
Ings hit 21 goals to help Burnley to promotion when he last played in the Championship back in 2013-14, and could prove himself all over again at promotion-chasing Leeds.
His experience at the level will come handy during the most crucial half of the campaign, and it’s a signing the Elland Road outfit should try to seal.
