According to Joaquim Piera of Sport, Philippe Coutinho is unhappy with Jurgen Klopp over the way that his summer transfer saga was dealt with.
Coutinho was a priority summer transfer target of Barcelona who wished to sign him following the departure of Neymar to PSG.
The Catalan giants are rumored to have submitted three offers for the Brazilian, all of which were rejected by Liverpool.
It has now emerged that Klopp threatened to leave Liverpool had the club decided to sell the 25 year old Coutinho.
Coutinho then rebelled and refused to train or play in order to force through a move with the club saying that it was due to a back injury.
Piera has added that when the transfer widow ended, Coutinho planned to not play in the Champions League as a form of protest and to prevent himself from being cap tied. However at the end his family and friends talked him out of doing this.
