Celtic legend states that Everton should now sack Ronald Koeman

Football pundit Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to state that Everton manager Ronald Koeman should be sacked following the Toffees 5-2 defeat against Arsenal in a Premier League clash on Sunday.

Everton managed to take the lead following a stunning strike from veteran Wayne Rooney, however that was as good as things got for them.

Nacho Monreal, Mesut Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette, Aaron Ramsey and Alexis Sanchez all scored for the Gunners while Oumar Niasse did manage to capitalize on a defensive lapse to pull one back for the Toffees.

With the result, Everton move into eighteenth position and into the relegation zone after taking just eight points from their opening nine games.

Many fans of the club now feel that it is time to sack Koeman. The club would have been hoping to challenge for a top four place prior to the season, though it now looks as though they will face a challenge to avoid relegation.

Sutton took to Twitter to reveal that the time is now right to sack Koeman.
