Newcastle United defender DeAndre Yedlin has insisted that his team cannot afford to underestimate Crystal Palace ahead of his team’s Premier League clash against the Eagles on Saturday.
Speaking ahead of the game, Yedlin said: “They are a team a team undersestimated. The win against Chelsea is going to give them a lot of confidence and they’re going to come and want three points against us as well. It’s our job to defend our home and get three point against them.”
The Magpies will be the favorites to win the game considering that they have been in better form this season and will also be playing at home.
Palace so far conceded the most goals in the Premier League thus far and have been in frustrating form after only claiming three points from their opening eight League games.
They did however pull off the shock of the season thus far by claiming a 2-1 victory against Chelsea last week.
The boost that Roy Hodgson’s side would have claimed from last week will give them confidence that they can get three points against the Magpies this weekend.
