“Just Leave” – Fans tear into Everton man after 6th loss in last 10 games

Everton dismal start to the season took another heavy hit after Olympique Lyonnais condemned them to their 6th defeat in the last 10 games across all competitions in Thursday’s night Europa League encounter.

The French visitors took the lead 6 minutes into the game after Nabil Fekir converted from the spot.

Everton drew level via Ashley Williams on the 69th minute, only for Bertrand Traore to restore Lyon’s lead 15 minutes from time.

The result means the Toffees are rock bottom of Group E, a sharp contrast to all other 6 English sides in Europe who are all topping their groups.

Everton will now look to make most of the return legs as failure to pick up all remaining 9 points will likely leave them without continental football after Christmas.

Manager Ronald Koeman is now facing more pressure, and it could get much worse with Arsenal to play on Sunday.

Many are beginning to call for the Dutchman’s head, and Evertonians on Twitter tore into him after the match.
