Everton considering getting back prolific attacker in January

According to reports, Everton could recall Henry Onyekuru from his loan spell with Anderlecht due to their battles in front of goals this season.

Despite spending heavily in the transfer market during the summer, the Toffees are clearly struggling after only picking up several points from their opening several games of the Premier League this season.

Onyekuru joined the Toffees during the summer from KAS Eupen for £7 million. He was immediately loaned out to Anderlecht in order to gain more experience and to gain more international caps for the Nigerian national team which would qualify him to gain a work permit in England.

The youngster has hit the ground running since joining Anderlecht and has so far scored five goals from 11 appearances.

His loan spell could be cut short earlier than expected due to his successes as well as the struggles of Ronald Koeman’s team.
