According to reports, Bayer Leverkuson attacking midfielder Kai Havertz is attracting interest from Liverpool.
The Reds are also said to have sent scouts to watch the 18 year old in action as he played for the Germany under 19 side during their UEFA Under 19 Championship qualifier against Belarus on Wednesday
The player could have certainly earned positive reviews as he scored four goals, two coming from penalties and recorded one assist as he led Germany to a 5-1 win.
Havertz is viewed as a potential superstar of the future and he will be a good investment at this stage, considering that his market value is likely to rise rapidly as he continues his development and gets better.
He broke into the Leverkusen first team last season and become the clubs youngest ever Bundesliga player at the age of 17 years and 126 days. It will be a major coup if the Reds end up signing him.
