According to reports, Coleen Rooney, who is the wife of Everton star Wayne, has informed her husband that he must stay away from former Manchester United team-mate Wes Brown.
Rooney was arrested earlier in the month after being found driving at over three times the legal alcohol consumption limit after partying with Brown.
After pleading guilty to the charges, the 31-year-old Rooney was slapped with a two year ban from drinking as well as 100 hours of community service.
Brown was also with Rooney when he lost £500,000 while betting at a casino in May. Rooney was no stranger to controversy during his time at United and while his behavior came as no surprise, he will need to clean up his act especially as he is now a senior footballer who needs to set a good example for younger stars to follow.
Hopefully this will be the last major transgression that comes from the all time leading goal scorer for Manchester United and England.
