According to reports, Brighton and Hove Albion and Crystal Palace will look to sign Everton striker Oumar Niasse when the transfer window opens in January.
After being handed a lifeline at Everton, Niasse made the most of the opportunities handed to him last week.
He scored during his club’s 3-0 Carabao Cup victory over Sunderland and then scored a brace as the Toffees claimed a 2-1 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday.
Since the player is currently scoring goals, manager Ronald Koeman may not sanction a sale should he keep up the good form. Niasse could rather end up remaining at the Toffees and becoming a key player of the side.
The 27-year-old was a target of the Premiership duo during the summer but the costs of added extras put a halt to any deal.
Everton fans will certainly be happy that a deal did not happen as the Senegal international looks like he could be a solution to the team’s goal scoring woes.
