Everton boss Koeman reveals his plans for the January transfer window

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has revealed that he will take a step back from transfer business during the January transfer period and leave that in the hands of the clubs director of football Steve Walsh.

The Toffees have made a poor start to the season and currently occupy 18th position in the League standings after taking just four points from their opening five games.

As a result, Koeman is currently under pressure and should the club’s results not improve anytime soon, he could be sacked in the near future.

Rather than focusing on making new signings in January, Koeman has now revealed that he will instead focus on making use of what he has and trying to improve his team’s results on the field.

Whilst speaking about the situation, the Dutch manager said, “We have Steve in the club for the long term. Of course, we like to improve in what we need. I am busy to turn around what happened in the moment. That is my priority.”
