Everton reportedly interested in 24 goals-in 30-games striker who bagged brace during WCQ

As per Sportske, (via ghanasoccernet) Everton have registered interest in Red Stars Belgrade striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom, following his prolific form over the last 8 months.

The Toffees are keen on the former Juventus signee, and could attempt to lure him to the Goodison Park over the winter transfer window in January.

Since arriving the Serbian side in February, Boakye has been in excellent form, scoring 24 goals in 30 games.

The Ghana international has also replicated his exploits in the national colours, banging a brace in Tuesday’s World Cup qualifiers – a 5-1 win over Congo.

The 24-year-old helped Red Star Belgrade reach the Europa League group stage with 7 goals in 8 games during the qualifying rounds.

With the club set to play Arsenal in November, Boakye has the opportunity to impress his suitors.

Regarding the Everton links, his agent Ivica Pavlovic, revealed: ”I received calls from two Premier League clubs, there will be interest from many clubs in the winter.”

Considering his enormous strength and style of play, Boakye could be the Romelu Lukaku-esque striker manager Ronald Koeman desires, and should his red-hot form continue till winter, the Merseysiders won’t hesitate to pull out all the stops to land their man.
