Celtic striker, Leigh Griffiths, has stated that he will be ready for Friday’s game against Hamilton.
The Hoops striker was a part of the Scottish national team over the previous several days as the Scots played against Lithuania and Malta in the European part of the World Cup qualifications.
The 27-year-old was the best player in both games, providing three assists and one goal. Griffiths had an unpleasant situation during the game with Malta at Hampden Park though.
He had to go out after 70 minutes because of the calf injury, and that worried many Hoops fans.
As a huge relief, the player has now declared himself ready for the game, and that everything will depend on Brendan Rodgers’ assessment.
“Yeah. I will be fine. I will be fine for Friday. I will go in tomorrow and see what the manager wants to do. If he wants to rest me for Friday then I will be ready for Tuesday.” Griffiths stated.
Celtic will play the opening match of Champions League the next Tuesday against Paris Saint-Germain.
