Liverpool star Daniel Sturridge took to social media platform Twitter on Friday to wish himself a happy birthday.
In a video posted by the 28-year-old, he also went on to thank all of those who sent him their well-wishes. Sturridge is arguably now at the peak of his career and will hope to score many goals this season.
He endured a frustrating campaign last term as injury restricted him to just two appearances in all competitions, during which he managed to score one goal.
Despite the setbacks and frustration from last term, the England international does have a good record for the Merseyside club as he boasts 47 goals for them from 91 games.
Manager Jurgen Klopp will certainly be aiming to get the best out of the striker this term. If Sturridge does manage to find form, there will be a good chance that the Reds can challenge for major silverware.
