Liverpool fans are disappointed that the club did not manage to sign Monaco sensation Thomas Lemar.
Lemar has established himself as a top young prospect after helping Monaco win the Ligue 1 last season and also helping his club to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
He was impressive during France’s 4-0 hammering of the Netherlands on Thursday as he went on to score a brace.
Liverpool fans should hope that Monaco do not manage to replicate their form from last season as this could make the chances high that Lemar will opt to join the Merseyside club either in January or next summer.
Arsenal were also credited with having an interest in signing Lemar and reportedly submitted a £92 million offer for his services, though this was rejected by Monaco.
Now Liverpool fans have expressed their unhappiness at the club not signing Lemar on Twitter.
