It has been reported that Lazio defender Stefan De Vrij has emerged as a target of both Liverpool and Juventus.
The two clubs are said to have placed the Dutchman on their transfer shortlists as they look to bolster their squad with defensive reinforcements this summer.
The Old Lady of Italian football, Juventus, have been in negotiations with Lazio over De Vrij buthave however failed to agree on a price.
Though De Vrij’s current contract expires in 2018, Lazio are said to be keen on seeing him sign a contract extension.
Lazio have reportedly indicated that they will be willing to part ways with De Vrij before the end of the transfer window provided they are given €25 million.
Should no offers be received for De Vrij before the end of the current transfer window, he will sign a new contract and a €25 million release clause will be placed on his contract.
