Everton reportedly eyeing 13-goals-and-7-assists in 34-games Championship striker

According to the Daily Mail, Everton are interested in the services of Cardiff City striker Kenneth Zohore.

The 23-year-old Denmark youth international has been in excellent form for the Welsh outfit since making his loan deal from Belgian side KV Kortrijk permanent last summer after a successful spell.

Zohore has been in high demand all-summer, with Hull having already had an £11million bid rejected for the former Copenhagen striker rejected, while Brighton’s £12million was also turned down.

In his last last 34 league games for Cardiff, Zohore has assisted 7 times and scored 13 goals – the most by any player in the club, and it’s why boss Neil Warnock isn’t keen on letting the huge striker who still has 2 years on his contract go.

However, Everton might be too much a big and tempting offer for the Dane forward to reject.

Manager Ronald Koeman still wants another striker in the mould of Romelu Lukaku before the transfer market shuts, and following Sunday’s loss to Chelsea, a late move for the powerful Zohore might be mulled over as the Toffees can do with a physical presence upfront.

His finishing and aerial strength are abilities the Blues are in dire need of in the final third, and should they convince the Championship table toppers into selling, he could be a huge addition to Everton’s striking ranks.
