Real Madrid could be preparing to sell Karim Benzema to Liverpool, according to reports.
Despite Madrid lifting the La Liga title and Champions League last term, Benzema’s performances were below par as he went on to score just 11 goals in the Spanish League.
Therefore, he could be headed for the exit door at the Santiago Bernabeu and according to reports, Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool and Arsenal are all interested in signing him though Madrid president Florentino Perez is only keen on selling to Liverpool.
Madrid are also still hoping to sign Kylian Mbappe and should they do so, Benzema could be set to fall down the pecking order at the club.
The Champions League winners are keen to add the young sensation to their roster and attack.
Should they sell, however, Madrid will not do so cheaply and are said to be looking for a fee of £92 million for the 29-year-old Frenchman.
