American soccer legend Brian McBride has claimed that Liverpool target Christian Pulisic prefers a move to either Barcelona or Real Madrid.
The 18-year-old American soccer sensation Pulisic has been linked with a move to Liverpool this summer though it seems that he is content with remaining at current club Borussia Dortmund for now.
He has been heralded as a super-star for the future as he is already playing regularly and scoring goals for both Dortmund and the United States national team despite his age
He has scored five goals from 37 appearances for Dortmund while he boasts 7 goals from 16 appearances for the Stars and Stripes.
McBride has now revealed that a sale is off the cards at the moment by saying, “No disrespect to Liverpool, but he probably has his sights set even higher. I’ve heard that that (Barcelona or Real Madrid) is part of the plan. That’s not coming directly from him, that’s coming from different people.
“Why wouldn’t you think that way? You have an incredible ability, you’ve continued to improve and you’re so young. This is not about putting limitations on himself, which is a smart thing, and I think in the long run, he’s probably thinking loftier. No disrespect”
