Michael Keane proves he is willing to put his body on the line for Everton

Michael Keane has proven that he is willing to put his body on the line for Everton during the Toffees 1-0 win over Stoke City on Saturday.

The 24-year-old Keane, who arrived at Goodison Park this summer from Burnley following impressive form last season, started his career with the Toffees on a good note.

His stats from the afternoon proved to be impressive as he made eight clearances, one block and three interceptions.  He also won 100% of tackles, won 4/5 duels, won ¾ aerial duels and had a pass accuracy of 84.8%.

Keane, a product of the Manchester United youth development system, has now stated on Twitter after the game, “Buzzing with the win and clean sheet today! Defo worth losing a tooth for.”

Keane and his team will be aiming for nothing less than a top six finish this season after bringing in good quality players during the summer.
