Liverpool reportedly identify Coutinho replacement in £60million-rated attacker

Liverpool will waste no time making a move for Napoli attacking midfielder Lorenzo Insigne should Philippe Coutinho eventually depart for Barcelona, according to the Mirror.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has been a long-time admirer of the 26-year-old Italy international, and has now made him top priority if the wantaway Brazilian leaves.

Insigne is said to be worth £60million, but the Serie A side aren’t ready to let him leave after he helped lead them to a 3rd place finish last term.

The midfielder was at the peak of his powers last season, banging in 18 league goals and laying down 9 assists.

Following such terrific individual campaign, Napoli quickly tied Insigne down to a new 5-year deal, and it would take a lot of pulling out all the stops for Liverpool to prise him away.

Per adventure the Anfield outfit are somehow able to land the Italian who’s one of Europe’s most exciting talents, Coutinho’s exit won’t be much felt.

Insigne has very impressive passing and through balls abilities, while he is also constant goal threat from distance.

Stubbornly holding on to an unhappy player might not augur well for Liverpool, but they have identified a perfect replacement in Insigne, and they must do everything within their power to get him once Coutinho packs his bags.
