Everton reportedly in 4-way battle for Belgian attacking midfield prodigy

According to The Sun, Everton are interested in the services of Club Brugge’s 17-year-old attacking midfielder Noah Fadiga, who only recently signed his first professional football contract back in May.

Alongside Southampton and Serie A duo AS Roma and Genoa, the Toffees had been keeping tabs on the hugely talented starlet since his days at Anderlecht 2 years ago, but he choose instead to remain in his country of birth.

Despite switching Academies between the Belgian bitter rivals, the quartet still haven’t given up on landing Fadiga, son of ex-Senegal international and former Bolton and Coventry star Khalilou Fadiga in the future.

On international level, Belgium, Senegal and France are also in a battle to have the teenage sensation represent them in the under-17.

Fadiga has been impressive with Brugge’s team B, and has been tipped to break into the first-team soon.

Of recent, Everton have paid close attention to recruiting talented youngsters into their youth teams, with their under-23 side the Premier League 2 defending champions.

Perhaps, Noah Fadiga could find himself playing under David Unsworth soon if he does enough to convince the Toffees of his potential.

However, landing the teenager won’t come easy, though, as they can be rest assured at least 3 other suitors are also closely monitoring his development.
