West Ham reportedly looking agree lucractive £80,000-per-week deal for attacker

According to reports, Manuel Lanzini is set to be offered a new contract by West Ham.

Lanzini established himself as a key player for the Hammers last season and his performances earned him a call up to the Argentina national team.

The 24-year-old has recently emerged as a target of Liverpool, who view him as a possible replacement for Barcelona target Philippe Coutinho should a transfer take place.

Lanzini joined the East London club from Al Jazira last summer and his current contract is set to run until 2020.

Lanzini is said to currently earn a much lower salary as compared to other West Ham stars and the club will offer him a new contract in order to try and prevent a departure. The new deal will take his salary close to the £80,000-per-week mark.

Hammers fans can certainly be excited by the prospect of seeing Lanzini playing alongside the likes of Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic this season.
