Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has revealed that he feels that Reds star Philippe Coutinho wants to join Barcelona.
Coutinho has been strongly linked with a move to the Catalan giants as they view him as a replacement for Neymar who has recently joined PSG for a World record deal.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp ideally wants to keep the Brazil international Coutinho as he forms a critical part of the Merseyside clubs play. However it looks like he may be sold soon.
Now even Carragher believes that this will happen and said, “Players want to go to Real Madrid and Barcelona, there’s a football chain.
“It’s the same with Philippe Coutinho. I don’t think he’ll go… but he’ll want to go. Who wouldn’t want to go? It’s Barcelona.”
Considering that many of the South American legends have played for Barcelona during their careers, there is a strong chance that what Carragher is saying holds truth.
