Everton midfielder makes a move to the Championship

According to reports, Nottingham Forest will complete the signing of Kieran Dowell on loan from Everton.

The 19-year-old Dowell is highly rated and was part of the England under 19 squad that recently won the European Championships.

Now the move to Forest will be a perfect opportunity for him to gain first team experience and prove to the Toffees hierarchy that he has the necessary skills to succeed in top flight football.

Dowell made his senior debut for Everton in April 2016, replacing Ross Barkley during a 2-1 win over Bournemouth. He also started the Toffees’ final game of the 2015-16 season against Norwich.

He is now expected to be in line with a chance to play in Forest’s first game of the upcoming Championship season against Millwall on Friday.

For Dowell, the move to the City Ground will be a great chance to gain more confidence on the pitch and grow as a player as he aims to challenge for a place in the Toffees first team.
