Tottenham will reportedly be able to sign top target for £35million

According to reports, Everton are holding out for a £35 million fee for Ross Barkley, with Tottenham seemingly leading the race to sign him.

The England international is destined to leave Goodison Park this summer and Ronald Koeman has already found a replacement in Davy Klaassen. Spurs will however offer the 23-year-old Barkley less than what he earned with the Merseyside Club.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are the only Premier League club that have yet to make a signing though he did reveal that they do plan to add new faces to their side this summer.

Barkley is said to be keen on a move to North London in order to kickstart his career. While talking about his clubs transfer plans, Pochettino said, “Our moment will arrive. We have a plan. We are calm because our squad is competitive squad.

“We have a very clear idea of what we want and what we need to do to try and achieve our target. I want to tell our fans ‘don’t be worried’ because there are a lot of rumours about the big sides spending money.”
