Everton boss Koeman admits he is looking to sign another striker

Everton boss Ronald Koeman has revealed that he is looking to bring in another striker to his squad prior to the closure of the current transfer window.

Though the Toffees lost their top scorer from last season, Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United, they have been very active in the transfer market this summer bringing in the likes of Sandro Ramirez, Wayne Rooney, Jordan Pickford, Michael Keane, Cuco Martina and Davy Klaassen.

A lot will be expected from Ramirez, however he is still untested in the Premier League, which means that signing another established striker will be a good idea.

Koeman confirmed that his team are looking to bring in another striker and said, “When Sandro [Ramirez] came on, Wayne Rooney had more freedom and we had pace up front which made the team better.

“We know that we would like another striker, you normally need two nines in the squad. I am really confident that we can bring in a good one to make us better.”
