Newcastle are believed to have accepted Everton’s bid for their 17-year-old highly rated wonder kid, Lewis Gibson, according to the Daily Star.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman has not hesitated in bringing new recruits to Goodison Park as they attempt to challenge for a top four position, spending over £100 million already of the transfer budget provided by owner Fahad Moshiri.
The Toffees have signed Wayne Rooney, Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen, Micheal Keane, Sandro Ramirez, Cuco Martina along with Henry Onyekuru but are still expected to make a few more additions to the team.
Amongst those additions is young England national Lewis Gibson, a highly anticipated talent who has gained the attention a few Premier League clubs including Tottenham and Southampton
Newcastle and Everton are believed to be in agreement over a deal worth an excess of £6 million for Gibson. The defender will join Everton’s Under-23 development program managed by David Unsworth.
