According to reports, Liverpool and Chelsea are set to battle in the race to sign £65million rated Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gabon international Aubameyang is renowned for his lightning fast pace and is one of the most in demand forwards in World football.
Jurgen Klopp has reportedly been trying to convince the Liverpool board to sign the player that he took to Dortmund in 2013.
They are however said to be reluctant on paying the fee that will be required to lure the player as well as his salary.
This may give Chelsea the favorites tag in the race to sign the player, whom they may be especially keen on, considering that they lost out to Manchester United in the race to sign Romelu Lukaku.
The future of Diego Costa also still remains uncertain with the Spanish international reportedly favoring a return to former club Atletico Madrid.
