Tottenham and Everton both reportedly still keen on 25-year-old striker

According to reports, Tottenham and Everton are still interested in signing striker Josh King from Bournemouth.

After numerous impressive displays for the Cherries last season, King has attracted interest from the duo.

Tottenham are looking for a striker who can act as a backup to first choice Harry Kane.

The fact that the North London club are likely to offer him uncertainty over regular first team action could however, be a turnoff to the Norway international King who will be looking to play and score goals on a regular basis.

Following the departure of Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United, Everton require another striker and King could fare better in terms of first team action should he join the Toffees.

Sandro Ramirez remains untested in English football while Wayne Rooney is now past his prime and it remains to be seen whether he still has what it takes to compete at the highest level on a regular basis.
