Newcastle United are reportedly happy to allow Australian defender Curtis Good the opportunity to join Notts County on loan.
The 24-year-old Good has just one more year remaining on his current deal with the Magpies and is reportedly not part of the club’s future first team plans.
Since joining the club in 2012, Good has failed to make any significant impact and has made just two appearances for the first team.
Should he join Notts County who ply their trade in League 2, he will link up with former Newcastle star Kevin Nolan. Good’s last appearance for Rafa Benitez’s team came against Oxford United in the FA Cup last season.
Good is not the only player that the Tyneside club are looking to offload this summer. They are also looking to part ways with Henri Saivet, Emannuel Riviere, Siem De Jong, Grant Hanley, Achraf Lazaar and Massadio Haidara in order to free up space within the squad.
