Liverpool reportedly readying a move for attacker with £13million release clause

Liverpool seem to be keen on another Southampton star after dropping interest in Van Dijk following an alleged illegal approach. The Reds are now keen on reinforcing their side for the upcoming season by signing Serbian international Dusan Tadic, according to the Times.

Liverpool is no stranger to deals with the Saints in the summer transfer season as they bought several players including Sadio Mane, Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren from Southampton over the past 3 years.

The 28-year old, who has been involved in 42 goals for the Saints since joining them in 2014, is interested in moving to the Merseyside and Liverpool would be more than willing to match his £13 million release clause.

Liverpool certainly require a midfield player with Dusan’s ability who adds talent and depth to a team that has an enduring season ahead after qualifying for the Champions League.

Liverpool also need to make their presence felt in the transfer market soon as their competitors have already started their business strongly this season.
