Scottish Premiership champions Celtic will reportedly receive a bumper windfall should Virgil Van Dijk leave Southampton this summer.
After some impressive form this past season, Van Dijk has been linked with a big money move to a host of clubs and although Liverpool back out of their £60million pursuit, the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City remain interested.
Van Dijk moved to Southampton from Celtic just under two years ago for £13.5 million and the Bhoys reportedly included a 10% sell clause as part of the deal.
However Southampton, who Van Dijk signed a five year contract with, are reluctant to sell and remain adamant that the player will be going nowhere at this point in time.
The Saints have also asked the Premier League to investigate an alleged illegal approach by Liverpool in their attempts to recruit Van Dijk.
Though Southampton have done business with Liverpool over recent years, they feel that the Reds have overstepped in this case and the prospective move to the Reds is now officially dead.
