Everton reportedly revive interest in attacker after having £33.6million rejected last summer

According to reports, Everton could be set to do battle over the signature of Porto midfielder Yacine Brahimi this summer. The Portuguese giants are also prepared to sell the player this summer.

After joining Porto from Granada in 2014, Brahimi has gone on to make 117 appearances in all competitions for the club, scoring 28 goals in the process.

The Toffees’ attempted to lure the Algerian international Brahimi last summer and submitted a £33.6 million bid for him on transfer deadline day, which was rejected by Porto.

According to reports from Portugal, Porto may be willing to lower their asking price for Brahimi in order to comply with Financial Fair Play rules by raising funds quickly.

Brahimi will definitely be a good addition to the Everton side, which will be competing in the Europa League next season. West Ham have also been rumored to be interested in the past and may make enquiries this summer.
