Everton can reportedly sign goalkeeper target for just £10million

According to reports, Everton target Lovre Kalinic could be available for £10 million. The Toffees are looking to recruit a new goalkeeper following unconvincing performances from Maarten Stekelenburg and Joel Robles this past season.

Kalinic was in fine form this past season for Genk and won the award for best goalkeeper in the Belgian League this past season.

Ronald Koeman was widely reportedly to be very keen on bringing Sunderland shot-stopper Jordan Pickford to his squad this summer.

According to reports, Everton even submitted a £8 million bid for the 23-year-old Pickford which was rejected by Sunderland, who are demanding a fee in the region of £30 million. This fee has reportedly cooled down interest in the Merseyside club towards Pickford.

Everton may well opt to sign Kalinic since he will likely be available for much cheaper than Pickford. The 27-year-old Kalinic may also be keen to challenge for the first choice goalkeeping position at Everton.
