According to reports, Tottenham Hotspur will have to pay Newcastle £30 million for Moussa Sissoko regardless of whether or not the player leaves the Lilywhites.
According to reports, Spurs agreed the figure in installments and have paid £6 million thus far with the next £6 million due next season.
Due to Sissoko’s inconsistency on the pitch, there were recent reports suggesting that Spurs my not have to pay the fee in full, however it has emerged that the full fee will have to be paid regardless.
The 27-year-old Sissoko moved to Spurs from the Magpies last summer and had an unsuccessful first season with the North London club.
After having started just eight matches this past season, the France international Sissoko suggested that he could leave Spurs in order to gain first team football elsewhere as he looks to make the France squad for the 2018 World Cup.
