The agent of Romelu Lukaku, Mino Raiola has claimed that Everton have made a promise that his client will be allowed to leave Goodison Park should certain terms be met.
Raiola said to talkSPORT, “Lukaku had a promise that if certain clubs came this summer that he could leave this summer. We are not in concrete talks with anybody at this moment, but hearing the market I think some clubs will contact Everton for him.”
Lukaku is expected to be sold this summer after rejecting a chance to sign a contract extension with the Toffees. Premier League Champions Chelsea are the favorites to complete the signing of the Belgium international.
Lukaku has firmly established himself as one of the most lethal forwards in world football after having scored 25 goals in the Premier League this season as well as 43 strikes during the past two years.
There is no doubt that Lukaku will be a good signing for Chelsea especially given that the future of Diego Costa is uncertain.
