Celtic captain Scott Sinclair is targeting a good performance from his side in European competition next season after they completed a treble by clinching a 2-1 win over Aberdeen on Saturday to claim the Scottish Cup.
The Bhoys also won the Scottish League without losing a game and also claimed the Scottish League Cup, in what has been arguably one of the best seasons in the clubs history.
Sinclair, who managed to win the award for Scottish Writers Player of the year, said, ‘We’ve gone unbeaten, won the Treble and we can only build on that going into next season.
“How do we build on that? We can only do it again. And we need to build in the Champions League, get to the group stage and progress in that competition better than we did this season.”
While Celtic are definitely regarded as giants of Scottish football, they will need to impress in Eruope in order to to improve its reputation in world football.
