Newcastle United target Gabriel Pires of Spanish outfit Leganes has displayed social media activity which indicates that he could be favoring a move to the Magpies.
TPF Newcastle tagged Gabriel in a tweet with his “best moments” and the player liked the tweet in response.
The Brazil international has been linked with a £6 million move to the Magpies this summer and Rafa Benitez is said to have sent scouts to watch him in action in Spain.
At just 23, Gabriel will be a good signing for the Magpies. He still has not reached the peak of his career but he does not have an expensive price tag attached to his name.
Gabriel proved that he is capable of performing at the highest level by playing a big role in helping Leganes avoid relegation from the La Liga this season. He played 36 games in all competitions for his club this season, notching five goals and recording two assists.
