Celtic captain Scott Brown has said that players of his side will be trying to win places in the starting lineup for their team that plays in the Scottish Cup final.
“Everyone’s playing for a place in the final now,” Brown said on BBC Scotland. “We’ve got five games before that. Aberdeen have done really well to get to the final; they’re a great team, but so are we. If we turn up on the day you know what can happen. It showed [against Rangers].
“We fancy our chances in every game, but we need to make sure we keep hitting those heights in the next five.”
The Hoops will play against Aberdeen in the final after defeating Rangers in the semi-finals during the weekend.
There is no doubt that Brendan Rodgers men will be favorites to lift the trophy and claim the treble after already securing the League title in addition to the League Cup.
They also have a psychological advantage over the Dons as they defeated them during the final of the League Cup.
Celtic are a team that are on top form in Scottish Football. There is no doubt that this season will certainly go down as one of the club’s greatest in its entire history and they will look to win the league with an unbeaten status.
