Liverpool reportedly plotting a move for German international striker

Another day, another rumor. And it looks like Liverpool will soon be made up entirely of former Southampton and Red Bull Leipzig players. According to the Daily Mail, the Reds are chasing Timo Werner and have inquired over his availability.

The young German, just 21 years old, has scored 14 goals in the German top flight this term as the Red Bull-owned side have mounted a surprise challenge for the Champions League. Werner has long been a cult hero of sorts in Football Manager, but he’s starting to show his true potential in real life as well with his play.

In addition to him, the Reds have been rumored to be after Naby Keita and Emil Forsberg, both of Red Bull as well. While all three look to be good signings, you can’t imagine all three coming.

What each does bring, though, is a high octane style of football that would suit Klopp down to the ground. Expect one of these players to be playing at Anfield next season. The question is: which one? This guy right here is rooting for Forsberg, but there will be few complaints about any of them.
