For the third time in recent memory, Jurgen Klopp has decided to take his side to warmer weather to train in. The Reds are headed to Tenerife in Spain to get some training in during the international break that has just come up.
Those that were not called up from the Anfield side are all there, with the exception of one notable name. That name being Daniel Sturridge. The English striker is on the outs, mostly due to his form, but he’s continually been injured and/or sick as well.
Among the traveling squad is Jordan Henderson, Dejan Lovren, and James Milner. The rest of the senior players that are not with their sides have also traveled.
The hope is that the Reds that aren’t playing will be in better shape when the international break ends and that they will be able to press on when toward the end of the season. It’s going to be a long, difficult run in for them against sides that they typically have trouble with.
