Ex-Premier League chairman claims Pochettino will leave Tottenham for Barcelona

Former Premier League chairman Simon Jordan has claimed that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will leave the North London club at the end of the season to join Spanish giants Barcelona.

In addition to this, he also revealed that Everton boss Ronald Koeman will be the man to replace Pochettino at White Hart Lane. Jordan tweeted: “I said Pochettino to Barcelona two days ago … watch this space then #thfc can nick Koeman from #efc.”

Jordan’s comments come after current Barcelona boss Luis Enrique revealed this week that he will step down as manager of the Catalan club at the end of the season.

There definitely is validity to the claims from Jordan. Pochettino is arguably one of the most talented managers in world football, having narrowly missed out on leading Spurs to Premiership glory last season.

An approach from Barcelona may attract Pochettino as it will allow him to have many of the world’s most talented players at his disposal.
