Everton manager Ronald Koeman has said that Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane are equal in terms of talent as the two clubs prepare to face each other on Sunday.
Lukaku, Kane and Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez sit atop the Premier League top scorers chart, with each having netted 17 goals apiece. The Toffees and Spurs will both definitely rely on their star forwards to help bring them three points as they square off this weekend.
Koeman said, “I don’t see any differences. They’ve both scored 17 goals and both are really top strikers and finishers. Harry Kane is scoring goals and he will always score goals on account of his clever movement.”
Both players are easily among the best strikers in the world now. There definitely is validity to Koeman’s words as is indicated by statistics. However football is an ever-changing environment and in time, we will come to see who the better of the two is.
