The Express have reported that Liverpool will offer Adam Lallana a new £ 120,000 a week deal in order to prevent him from being tempted towards a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham Hostpur boss Mauricio Pochettino is said to enjoy a good relationship with Lallana having worked together with him at Southampton and wants to bring him to White Heart Lane.
Lallana has established himself as a key component of the Liverpool team and without his presence, a fragility within the team has been exposed as was the case during the clubs 2-1 shock defeat to Wolves in the FA Cup on Saturday.
Tottenham already have vast attacking options to choose from with Dele Ali and Christian Eriksen the most talented. Tottenham will certainly be happy to land Lallana however one can presume he will remain at Liverpool since he is almost guaranteed to play a key role for the club going forward.
